  expert practitioners on a journey through the basic tenets of veterans 
 law. Each presenter will cover important concepts required for VA 
 accreditation. These topics include representation before VA\, claims 
 procedures\, basic eligibility for VA benefits\, the right to appeal\, 
 disability compensation\, ethics\, dependency and indemnity compensation\,
  and pension. While geared towards those seeking VA accreditation\, it is 
 also an excellent refresher for novice practitioners! The series kicked 
 off on February 18 with an Overview of VA presented by Julie Glover and 
 continued on February 25 with Fundamentals of VA Disability Compensation 
 by Christine Clemens. We continued with Appealing VA Decisions\, led by 
 John Niles on March 4. The recording of these sessions are available to 
 view for registrants on the agenda page of the event website. We will 
 conclude with Ethics of VA Representation presented by John Tucker on 
 March 11. ********* Julie Glover (session one) is a veterans&rsquo\; law 
 attorney in private practice in Dallas\, TX. Along with her law partner\, 
 Adam Luck\, she founded GloverLuck\, LLP in 2014. She exclusively handles 
 VA disability compensation cases at both the agency and Court levels. 
 Julie earned her J.D. from Texas Wesleyan University\, and an L.L.M. from 
 the University of Alabama. She currently serves as Secretary of the NOVA 
 Board of Directors and is a member and past chair of the Military and 
 Veterans&rsquo\; Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. Christine Clemens 
 (session two) is a partner at Chisholm Chisholm &amp\; Kilpatrick\, where 
 she represents disabled veterans before the VA and the U.S. Court of 
 Appeals for Veterans Claims. Christine earned her J.D. from the University
  of Michigan Law School and a Master of Public Policy from the Gerald R. 
 Ford School of Public Policy. Her prior experience includes serving as a 
 staff attorney at Public Counsel in Los Angeles and as Managing Attorney 
 and Pro Bono Coordinator for the Veterans&rsquo\; Services Group at 
 Finkelstein and Partners\, LLP in New York. She has been a member of the 
 NOVA Board of Directors since 2019 and serves currently as its President. 
 John D. Niles (session three) is a managing shareholder at Carpenter 
 Chartered\, where his practice focuses on representing veterans\, their 
 survivors\, dependents\, caregivers\, and veterans&rsquo\; advocacy 
 organizations before VA and appellate courts. He devotes much of his work 
 to impact litigation\, particularly advancing pro-veteran precedent on 
 VA&rsquo\;s duty to maximize disability compensation and properly analyze 
 symptoms while minimizing pyramiding concerns. John earned his J.D. from 
 Duke University School of Law in 2008 and holds a master&rsquo\;s degree 
 in economics from Duke University. His prior experience includes clerking 
 for the Hon. E. Grady Jolly of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth 
 Circuit\, practicing at major international law firms\, and serving as 
 Special Counsel to the National Veterans Legal Services Program. He is 
 also currently serving on NOVA&rsquo\;s Board of Directors as Treasurer. 
 John V. Tucker (session four) is Vice President of NOVA&rsquo\;s Board of 
 Directors and Co-Chair of the Seminar Committee. He is the founder and 
 principal of Tucker Disability Law\, P.A.\, a national firm representing 
 clients in VA service-connected compensation and ERISA disability 
 insurance claims. Mr. Tucker has practiced disability law almost 
 exclusively for nearly 34 years and also serves as an Adjunct Practice 
 Advisor with Atticus Advantage\, providing coaching to attorneys and law 
 firm owners. Elected to NOVA&rsquo\;s Board of Directors in 2021\, he 
 previously served as Treasurer and has chaired several NOVA committees\, 
 including the Social\, Mentorship\, and Webinar Committees. He holds both
