NOVA Presents Kelsey Craveiro with the Distinguished Advocate Award

Congratulations to Kelsey Craveiro, who received the Distinguished Advocate Award at NOVA’s Spring 2024 Conference!  The Distinguished Advocate Award is designed to recognize talent deserving wider recognition, specifically those who work in niche areas of VA law, often without recognition and/or contribute in some other quiet way to the betterment of NOVA and/or the veterans law profession.

Kelsey proudly leads a team that represents veterans nationwide in their VA disability compensation claims and appeals as Managing Attorney of the Veterans Disability Division at Rob Levine & Associates. She enjoys helping others learn how to enhance their practice by utilizing the latest online VA applications. One member noted: “Her presentation at the Fall 2019 NOVA Conference was part of the building blocks that I used in my own practice! She has even taken her time outside of conferences to help other veterans' law attorneys, with no affiliation to her firm, get VBMS access so that they could better help their clients. She does this while keeping a case load and growing her own law firm’s ability to help veterans.”  We can testify to her generous nature; she also frequently helps NOVA members with stubborn tech issues after receiving access.

She graduated cum laude from Quinnipiac University School of Law in Connecticut, where she served as Vice President of the Women’s Law Society and received the Judge F. Owen Egan Award in recognition of her commitment to alternative dispute resolution. During law school, she also clerked for the Hon. M. Nawaz Wahla in the Judicial District of Hartford.

NOVA is pleased to bestow this honor on Kelsey in recognition of her talent and contributions!
