Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay (CRDP) and Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC): A Primer

Gregg Maxon, Esq.
Wednesday July 27, 2022

Concurrent Retirement and Disability Pay (CRDP) allows military retirees to receive both military retired pay and VA disability compensation. Combat Related Special Compensation (CRSC) is a special compensation for combat-related disabilities. Each program has its own unique rules and both are important to understand when advising your clients.

Gregg Maxon will review the requirements of both CRDP and CRSC, and provide the latest information to help you navigate these programs and understand how they fit within the VA disability compensation scheme.
