Join four expert practitioners on a journey through the basic tenets of veterans law. Each presenter will cover important concepts required for VA accreditation. These topics include representation before VA, claims procedures, basic eligibility for VA benefits, the right to appeal, disability compensation, ethics, dependency and indemnity compensation, and pension. While geared towards those seeking VA accreditation, it is also an excellent refresher for novice practitioners!
The series will begin with an Overview of VA presented by Julie Glover on February 18, followed by Fundamentals of VA Disability Compensation with Christine Clemens on February 25. The program will continue with a session on Appeals led by John Niles on March 4 and conclude with Ethics presented by John Tucker on March 11.
