On August 10, 2022, President Biden signed the Sergeant First Class (SFC) Heath Robinson Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act of 2022 into law. This wide-ranging bill, among other things, expands several existing laws, incorporates new presumptive conditions, and provides guidance for future consideration of potential presumptive conditions. Diane will provide an overview of the bill’s provisions in advance of further discussion at the upcoming conference.

Diane Boyd Rauber is NOVA’s Executive Director, joining NOVA in September 2015 as Director of Legislative and Regulatory Affairs. Prior to NOVA, Diane served as Associate General Counsel for Appeals with Paralyzed Veterans of America, overseeing client representation before the Board of Veterans’ Appeals. She also previously worked as of counsel to the Law Office of Wildhaber and Associates and as a staff attorney for the National Veterans Legal Services Program, representing veterans and their families before the Board and the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.
