I'm a former Veterans Law Judge at the Board of Veterans' Appeals (BVA); former attorney law clerk at the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims (CAVC); former member of the CAVC’s Rules Advisory Committee; former Vice-Chair of the Federal Circuit Bar Association's Veterans Appeals Committee; Past-President and Treasurer of the CAVC Bar Association, a founding member and Past-President of the CAVC Historical Society, and a former staff attorney in BVA’s Office of Quality Review. I am currently a member of the National Organization of Veterans' Advocates Congressional Committee.
I have also published multiple articles about veterans benefits law and have served as a speaker or moderator for veterans law presentations sponsored by such groups as the CAVC Bar Association, Federal Circuit Bar Association, National Organization of Veterans' Advocates, CAVC Judicial Conference, William & Mary Law School, George Washington University Law School, Washington & Lee Law School, the Pennsylvania Department of Military and Veterans Affairs, VA Regional Offices and the Board of Veterans’ Appeals.
