Join four expert practitioners on a journey through the basic tenets of veterans law. Each presenter will cover important concepts required for VA accreditation. These topics include representation before VA, claims procedures, basic eligibility for VA benefits, the right to appeal, disability compensation, ethics, dependency and indemnity compensation, and pension. While geared towards those seeking VA accreditation, it is also an excellent refresher for novice practitioners!
The series kicked off on February 18 with an Overview of VA presented by Julie Glover and continued on February 25 with Fundamentals of VA Disability Compensation by Christine Clemens. We continued with Appealing VA Decisions, led by John Niles on March 4. The recording of these sessions are available to view for registrants on the agenda page of the event website.
We will conclude with Ethics of VA Representation presented by John Tucker on March 11.
